STANDARD PARCEL DELIVERY

 
We use a number of different courier partners in order to offer you the best possible service. Delivery is free to most of UK Mainland for products that can be purchased online. Some areas may be subject to additional charges.
 
Our workshop is run very efficiently which usually results in fast despatch times. Please be aware that our dispatch times are estimates only. During busy periods dispatch time may increase. You can find our most recent estimated dispatch time in the cart and along the banner on our homepage. Please note that these dispatch times do not apply to bespoke orders. During busy periods, dispatch times may be longer. If you have a deadline please get in touch with us to check our lead time.
 
After quality checks are carried out, your item is professionally packaged. We take great care packaging your item so we have a very low damage rate. Most of our oak beams are packaged in heavy duty custom made cardboard boxes offering exceptional protection against knocks and drops.
 
Once we have arranged your delivery with our courier we will update you to let you know your item is on its way with tracking information. Unless your item is particularly large we will always send your item on a 24-hour service (weekdays only) with either DHL or DX if we are delivering to UK Mainland. A signature is required unless we are given specific instructions to leave your item in a safe place. If you are not available at the time of delivery the courier will attempt to leave the item with a neighbour. Delivery is usually made between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
 
Please note, during busy periods and exceptions such as weather, and incorrect addresses, we cannot guarantee your delivery will be the next day. Please leave as much additional information as you can to ensure the successful delivery of your order. Unless you leave us a note specifying otherwise, we will dispatch your order as soon as it is ready. If you need delivery to be on a specific day or would like us to get in touch with you to arrange a suitable delivery day then please leave us a note in the checkout.
 

PALLET DELIVERIES

Once an order is received we will be in touch to arrange a delivery date in the next few days.
 
We ship pallets through the Fortec Pallet network using their express service where possible. For some postcodes we may only be able to offer economy shipping.
 
The courier is contracted to offer kerbside delivery only. The pallet will be off-loaded via tail lift, this can only be done if there is adequate access of at least 10m, sufficiently wide (2.8m min), free of obstacles and reasonably level. Pallet trucks cannot be operated on gravel or soft ground.
 
It is very important that the goods are checked upon arrival and delivery paperwork signed. If any goods are to arrive damaged, please sign for the item as damaged so we can rectify this.
 
 

STRUCTURAL BEAMS

Please get in touch with us for an accurate delivery cost for structural oak beams. Due to the huge variation in delivery charges, we quote delivery for each individual order. Depending on the size of the order we’ll aim to dispatch structural beam orders within 3 working days.
 
Depending on the size and quantity of beams we use a few specialist couriers in order to get you the best deal. We can deliver beams up to 6m in length anywhere in the UK at very competitive prices. Beams over 2.5m can’t be tail lifted off the wagon so offloading needs to be arranged by the client.

 

 

RETURNS

We accepts returns for beams and shelves ordered via our website providing no bespoke requests have been made such as cutting to length, and changing which side the fixings are positioned in. We do not accept returns for worktops, window sills and basin shelves or any of our lacquered products.

Any cancellations for beams and shelves must be confirmed via email and returned to us within 30 days of receiving delivery of the goods. You will be responsible for returning the goods (unused) in original packaging with original paperwork at your own cost. It is your duty to take reasonable care to ensure the goods are returned back to us undamaged. Full refunds will not be issued if undue care or attention has lead to damage in transit.
